General Description
The activities of the Laboratory focus on research and education at undergraduate and postgraduate level on issues of: Family Health Care and Health Promotion in the Home, School Nursing (Special Education, Classical Education), Study of Special Populations - Transcultural Nursing, Health Care Needs Study Of Community Population and at the same time it can provide health care services to the subject of "Community Nursing" by addressing Health Care Issues, (Home Hospital) and the development of technologies and applications related to the country's needs, as well as the creation of technological conditions for the connection of the Nursing Department with the Greek market. It deals with research and education of health professionals on: Family, Community and Transcultural Nursing. The laboratory develops activities in research and development programs in collaboration with Hellenic Health Sector (Hellenic Red Cross, Health Centers, Educational Institutes), as well as with international research organizations such as WHO, Østerreichisches Rotes Kreuz, Wien research institutes and foreign Universities Research Centre for Transcultural Studies in Health of Middlesex University London UK.
