General Description

The aim is to provide undergraduate and graduate students the necessary theoretical and clinical knowledge for the recognition of the risk factors for Nosocomial infections . Special emphasis is given to high risk patient facilities, such as ICU, operating theater etc.

In addition, the director of the lab is a member of the Nosokomial Infection Committee and participates in infection prevention and control activities, nurses and physicians training and in research projects as well.
